Wood Sandpiper (still present 12.30 pm) and LRP on Manby Flashes today. Both on smaller pond beyond the main one. Roger Labbett

2 Green Sandpipers flew off NE
2 Ruff
4 Redshank
8 Snipe
1 Lapwing

Wood Sandpiper still present on small pool this morning 11 April.

Also present on small pool;
Spotted Redshank 1
Ruff 2
Snipe 8
Little Egret 2

On main pool;
Little Ringed Plover 1
Dunlin 1
Swallow 7
House Martin 2

Just to update and add to this thread since 8/4/15.-
8/4, 8 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Swallow.
9/4, 1 Green Sandpiper.
11/4, 4 Redshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Fieldfare.
12/4, 4 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper.
I haven't managed to catch up with the Wood Sand but likely plenty more in May, (back in the Midlands now).

Hi Geoff

Some waders don't seem to stick around long in spring and its easy to miss stuff in those bunches of sedge around the back pool.

Today (Monday 13th) I had the following

2 Little Ringed Plover (missed on the last 3 visits in the last week)
2 Ruff
1 Green sandpiper
4 Redshank
2 Snipe
2 Yellow wagtails
1 Swallow, no other hirundines.
