a wander round looking for butterflies (2 Grizzled Skippers) produced 1 singing Nightingale, 1 Sedge Warbler (migrant in silver birches), 3 Marsh Tits & 1 Tawny Owl. Habitat looks great for Tree Pipit, River Warbler etc nut no sign of either (!), amazing density of Willow Warblers, c. 25 singers counted. Pasqueflowers at a traditional site nearby afterwards.
