Location: Swanpool, Lincoln
2 Mediterranean Gulls at the mere this morning, a 2nd cy and a 3rd cy, first record for the patch since April 2010.
An immature Water Rail was feeding in front of the hide, 2nd proof of breeding for patch.
Also Great Crested Grebes and Common Terns with small young.
2 Shovelers, 12 Pochard & 7 Tufted Duck.

No sign of any Med Gulls today but a1cy Common Gull was unusual for early July.
