The month ended quietly on the realignment area where waders were 64 Golden Plovers, 46 Lapwings, 71 Redshanks, one Greenshank, 9 Dunlin, one Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Common Sandpipers and 3 Whimbrel. Other highlights were a sub-adult Yellow-legged Gull, 23 Little Egrets, a pair of Tufted Ducks with 5 small young, 6 Yellow Wagtails, a Peregrine, 4 Kestrels and a Marsh Harrier. Moving NW during the morning were 440 Swallows, 6 Sand Martins and 4 Common Swifts.
