I have had a report of a short eared owl at Far Ings on 6th and today an early morning passage of 1000 swallows in an hour. A probable 1st winter Caspian gull on the new Pits on 7th too.

Caspian Gull? 1000 Swallows, not seen more than 200 this autumn. -- hope it's not you know who warming up!
