About 110 Cormorants 'checked in' to a roosting site close to my home earlier today - an incredible number as I had always counted between 20-30 birds max. before!

Also 24 at Toft Newton Reservoir this morning....largest number I've seen on my local patch!

wonder if the extensive floods in the north have made finding fish impossible and
they have moved to locations with fish easier to catch ?
