Apologies belated report from yesterday.
Highlight of a gorgeous patch visit was my first singing ChiffChaff of the year. Heard from 2 quite separate locations but think it was just one mobile bird.
Another good point was a pair (M&F) Siskin that were in the open and easy to view rather than the usual high up in the dark canopy.
35 species in total with other notable ones being:-
Great Crested Grebe - 4 (down from 5 the Saturday before) Tufted Duck - 3m & 1f Little Egret - 2 Sparrowhawk - 1 Kestrel - 1m Kingfisher - 1 Curlew - 8 Goldcrest - 1 Long-tailed Tit - 5 at least Bullfinch - 2 Reed Bunting - 3
Also 1 Peacock butterfly
