A Brambing in my garden in Rippingale yesterday too and a different male last week on two consecutive days. Still a few Lesser Redpolls coming to the feeders (3 yesterday) but the Siskins seem to have moved on. One each of Chiffchaff and Blackcap as compensation though!

I had a resplendent male brambling feeding on sunflower hearts in my Woodhall Spa garden this morning. There have been bramblings in a mixed flock of finches feeding for several weeks on feeders in a garden behind the museum in Iddesleigh Rd. I believe Robert Carr has mentioned them on the Forum previously. However, this is the first one to come here in 2015/16.
