June 23rd: Speckled Wood on magnolia.
June 24th: Speckled Wood on buddleai.
June 25th: Holly Blue.

July 1st: Speckled Wood on varigated holly.
July 16th: Common Blue female on Johnson's blue geranium (first one in long time).
July 19th: GV White - 1 on the viola.
July 21st: this morning disturbed something while watering potentilla, luckily it landed on windowsill of the outhouse and hung on while I fetched me glasses, wow it was my bogey b'fly the Gatekeeper :D .

*One of my neighbours got their son a Painted Lady pack of caterpillars(5) and all the equipment and they went through the different stages and they brought them last week to show me, they released them back-end of last week, but have not seen them since. Interesting to see them!

Kind regards

John :D

July 21st: Large White - 2 and Small White - 2 (also had the latter on the 25th)

July 25th: Gatekeeper on ribes, Red Admiral, Peacock and Comma one of each on the buddleai, Large White - 3 on the cabbage and buddleai, Small White - 1 on the strawberrys.

July 30th:

Best day of year! Spotted a Red Admiral on the light blue buddleai so took record shot from inside kitchen in case it flew off as is usual. Went outside and managed to take 59 pics and four videos of which they are stunning though I say it myself   :D hope to put some online when I get round to it, especially my Facebook page.
In total had two Red Admiral at same time but the other was on the dark blue buddleai, also one Small T/Shell, two Small White and two Large White.

Well happy!

John

PS: well done Freddy on your collection! :)

Cheers

John
