Highlights at the south end in the blustery conditions were 3 Redwings and singles of Stonechat, Whinchat, Wheatear, Reed Warbler, Chiffchaff, Rock Pipit, Marsh Harrier and Peregrine. Two Sand Martins, one House Martin and 7 Swallows flew north along the dunes. Six Sandwich Terns, 2 Common Terns and 6 Common Scoters headed north at sea where most passage was southerly during one hour from 0930, hence 145 Gannets, 2 Red-throated Divers, 10 Sooty Shearwaters, 4 Great Skuas, 3 Pomarine Skuas and 4 skuas sp.
