Baumber 0930-1100hrs

This morning between the above hours we experienced some persistent rain. Suddenly the garden and hedgerows became full of grounded migrant thrushes. The mixed flock included Blackbirds, Redwing, Song Thrush and Fieldfares (my first of the season). Also around were a number of Robin and Chaffinch. Once the rain had cleared they all moved on.
