The next meeting of the Grimsby RSPB Group is at 7.30pm on Monday 17th October at Corpus Christi Community Centre, corner of Machray Place, Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes DN35 7AE.

Pollyanna Pickering, a renowned wildlife artist and passionate conservationist will give a talk entitled "A Brush with Nature"

This talk will appeal to those interested in art and conservation, as well as those interested in birds.

At this meeting you will be able to book for our next coach trip which is to RSPB Saltholme and Hartlepool Bay on Sunday 23rd October.

All welcome to both events. You don't have to be a member of the RSPB.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting, or on the trip, or both!

. . . and a good time was had by all. The presentation by Polyanna Pickering and her daughter, Anna-Louise, made for a very entertaining evening, so well done to the committee for organising it.

I have posted an interview with Polyanna at: http://thewryneck.blogspot.co.uk/
