You might be interested to know RSPB Frampton Marsh is one of four sites nominated for 'Site of the Year' in the Birdwatch Birders' Choice Awards. You can check this and all the other categories out here;

We won! Thanks if you voted for us.

Frampton Marsh also won the RSPB's 'Golden Wellie' in 2016 - which is a competition to record the most waders using managed wetland habitats between April and October. We recorded 34 species. Second placed were Titchwell Marsh (33), third Minsmere (31).

I voted for Frampton as I remember many long drives to North Norfolk in the 1970s to early noughties then Frampton
as the first serious site to compete with the Norfolk sites, so thanks to the joint enterprise of RSPB ,Environment Agency
and English Nature ( I took a close interest during the planning stages of the site when an employee of EN ), and
I now visit the site regularly .

regards John
