Hi

Does anybody know where I have a realistic chance of finding waxwings within an hour's drive of Grimsby?

For my sins, I run a Birdwatching Group through the U3A in Grimsby which is made up of mature!, but relatively inexperienced birders, some of whom have never seen waxwings.

It would be wonderful if I could locate some for our trip on 9th January. If you know a current regular site, I would be very grateful if you would let me know via this website, or at martin.francis2@ntlworld.com or on (01472) 883436

Thanks in anticipation
Best wishes
Martin Francis

PS I do know that waxwings move around, so I won't hold you responsible if I/we can't find them at your suggested site!!

Thanks Andrew

Alford would be about the limit of our range.

I'll keep my eye on further posts and hope that the 'Grimsby' waxwings remain or more arrive locally.

Best wishes
Martin
