I had a superb Olive-backed Pipit this morning at Gib. The bird was in the hedge by the cycle track just north of beach car park at 11.40am viewed as I walked along the roadside. It then flew out and over the bank towards Tennyson Sands where it was brilliantly relocated by Ben Ward from the North Hide as it made its way through the long grass between the hides. We eventually lost it at about 12.20 as it crept along towards the Hope hide.
