Hi, everyone!
Just a few lines to introduce myself.
I've been actively birding for many years and joined the RSPB in 1947 (there were about 5000 members then). I am also a very keen 'butterflier'.
Having lived abroad and in various parts of the UK since the 1950's, I moved to Lincoln (from Spain) in 2002..... and have no regrets. Lincolnshire is certainly a great county for the naturalist.
I've already 'connected' with a number of forum members, including the ever - helpful and informative: Stuart Britton (Bardney), Eric Davison (Norton Disney Quarry), Dean Eades (Haverholme Priory), Roy Harvey (Walesby Moor), Grahame Hopwood (Whisby ) and Andy Sims (Hykeham).
I look forward to making some contribution myself in the future.
