A breezy but rewarding day spent birding solo on the Norfolk Coast.

Snettisham RSPB
Fieldfare c100
Brent Geese
Shelduck
Curlew

Thornham Harbour
Lesser Yellowlegs - feeding in a shallow river channel only 20m from parked cars. Pleased to complete the pair of 'legs': Greater Yellowlegs twitched at Minsmere 4 Aug 85.

Twite
Barn Owl
Brent Geese

Salthouse (NT car park area)
Snow Bunting c20
Turnstone c20
both species feeding 5-10m from birders.

Holkham
Field off Lady Ann Drive
Black Brant with c250 Brent Geese

Holkham Gap
Shore Lark - 9 at foot of the Dunes (landward side)
Meadow Pipits c10
